Lightness Outside is a bespoke light installation created for the presentation of the 2021 Spring-Summer collection of Fendi. Composed of five handmade and energy-efficient light panels that measure 7m2 each, and imitate the sky, the installation aimed at creating a natural scenography for the clothing and expressed the feeling of openness found in the clear sky, as a reflection of a hopeful springtime after a year of lockdown.
Presented at the Palazzo Fendi, the window display acted as an element between the inside and outside, inviting the passer-by to stop and observe the subtle movements of the lighting.
